Designed for the Phantom 4 Camera, it replaces the UV filter that is pre-installed on the camera. Helps reduce the amount of light entering the lens to reduce glare and lower the Exposure Value. The Phantom 4 Pro ND8 Filter will reduce light by 3 stops to effectively avoid overexposure of photos and videos in a wide range of different environments.
Especially useful when shooting video to reduce shutter speed to double the frame-rate to introduce cinematic motion blur. Put more simply, the ND8 filter helps avoid overexposed photos.
The ND8 filter passes through 1/8 of the incoming light. This is equal to 3-stop filter strength.
