DJI Drones Meet New Transport Canada Requirements For Flight Near People
HUGE NEWS for all DJI owners! DJI drones meet new Transport Canada requirements for flight near people. Effective June 1st, the following models are approved for flight within 30 metres of people:
M600 Series
M200 Series
M200 V2 Series
Inspire 2
Mavic 2 series
Mavic Pro
Mavic Air
Phantom 4 series
Spark
According to Transport Canada, “near people” is defined as “operations in which the drone will fly within 30 meters and 5 meters of any person not associated with the operation.”
