The PRS-M4DT is a drone parachute system designed for the DJI Dock 3 operating the DJI Matrice 4D and 4TD drones. It seamlessly integrates into your mission, providing an essential Parachute Recovery System (PRS) that helps enterprise drone pilots meet key regulatory requirements. The PRS-M4DT enables safe and legal flights over people, complying with FAA Operations Over People (OOP) Category rules, Transport Canada Over People regulations, EASA MOC 2512, Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority guidelines, and countries following JARUS M2 SORA mitigation standards.
The PRS-M4DTEX combines the PRS with a Flight Termination System (FTS) to meet EASA MOC 2511 and 2512 requirements. This European-specific kit includes an independent FTS that terminates flight automatically when a geofence is breached, enabling C5 and C6 designations under European regulations. The FTS-M4DTEX is a standalone, lightweight flight termination device without a parachute, designed to meet C6 and Enhanced Containment standards by mitigating air risks.
Deployment is fast and reliable, occurring in under 0.5 seconds automatically. The system features a plug-and-play Flight Termination System with optional zero-meter deployment. Manual deployment is available through the DJI Payload SDK (PSDK), while independent automatic deployment can trigger through geofence violation.
The PRS-M4DT and related systems comply with ASTM F3322-22 (Q2 2025), EASA MOC 2511 and 2512 (Q2 2025), and come with third-party documentation suitable for Civil Aviation Authorities worldwide.
