The PPK Premium License is an advanced activation license for the WingtraOne Gen II drone equipped with the Sony RX1R II camera. This license enables multi-payload activation, including support for the Sony a6100, Micasense RedEdge-MX, and Altum sensors.
At its core, the license activates the drone's built-in multi-frequency Post Processed Kinematic (PPK) GNSS receiver, which significantly improves the accuracy of your drone’s image geotags after the flight is completed. Unlike real-time corrections, PPK processes raw satellite data post-flight to correct the drone’s positional information, delivering centimeter-level accuracy.
This refined geotag correction ensures your aerial images align precisely with real-world coordinates, enhancing the quality and reliability of survey maps, 3D models, and all GIS applications. The PPK Premium License is especially valuable for professional industries like surveying, agriculture, construction, and environmental monitoring, where high precision is critical and real-time correction signals are not always available.
