MicaSense RedEdge-P Payload Kit
The MicaSense RedEdge-P is a cutting-edge multispectral payload designed to deliver the highest resolution and most precise plant-level data in agriculture and environmental monitoring. Combining a powerful panchromatic band with five narrow spectral bands, it enables pan-sharpened images with exceptional clarity at resolutions as fine as 2 cm (0.8 inches) per pixel from 60 meters altitude. The RedEdge-P’s fast capture rate and advanced storage architecture make it ideal for mapping large areas quickly without compromising data quality.
Unmatched Imaging Quality and Efficiency
Equipped with a high-resolution panchromatic sensor and five spectral bands, the RedEdge-P captures detailed RGB and multispectral images simultaneously for comprehensive vegetation analysis. Its 93° field of view covers more ground in fewer images, significantly speeding up flights and reducing processing times.
Advanced Data Capture and Storage
This sensor captures up to three images per second using professional-grade removable CFexpress storage cards, allowing for rapid data collection and seamless flight operations. The CFexpress standard supports capacities ranging from 64 GB to 2 TB, ensuring ample space for extensive mapping missions.
Seamless Integration and Reliability
Designed to easily upgrade existing RedEdge installations, the RedEdge-P features compatible electrical and mechanical interfaces. Factory calibration guarantees consistent, high-quality data output for critical applications, including precision crop scouting, weed detection, species differentiation, and 3D point cloud generation.
