Course Description:

This 1-day training module is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to successfully capture and process data using the DJI L1 LiDAR payload (DJI M300 drone) and DJI Terra processing software. At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Mount and calibrate the DJI L1 payload on the DJI M300 drone
• Run a complete pre-flight check on all drone systems, including the L1 payload
• Assess site for optimal LiDAR mapping conditions
• Generate LiDAR mapping mission plans using the DJI Pilot flight control app
• Capture LiDAR data using the DJI L1 payload
• Run in-field quality control on L1 LIDAR data
• Import and process L1 data in DJI Terra
