At Volatus Drones we do everything we can to create a great experience for our customers. This includes easy returns. Please fill out the form below to initiate the return process. You can also learn more about our return policy below.

We offer a 10-day "buyer's remorse" return policy from the date of delivery on many products. EXCEPTIONS APPLY, please see the FAQ below for a list of non-returnable products. Unopened product, with manufacturer seals intact, can be returned with no questions asked. Open product returns must be in brand new condition, in their original box, and must include all original packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, documents, and all accessories. Items that have been opened, activated, previously flown, used, or show any sign of wear, may be accepted at the sole discretion of Volatus Drones with a minimum 20% re-stocking fee.

For all returns, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount. This also applies to orders that originally qualified for free shipping. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Use a traceable carrier for transport (i.e. FedEx, UPS, Purolator, Canada Post etc.) as they provide you with a tracking number and proof of delivery. The cost of sending an item to our service centre for warranty service is paid by the customer. Volatus Drones will pay for return shipment. If upon arrival your product is out of warranty, the shipment will be returned to you at your cost.

Returned merchandise must be in its original condition and accompanied by the packing slip included in your order, as well as the original documentation and packaging; otherwise, the return will not be honored. Original condition means that there are no scratches, marks, or blemishes on the product and the security tags are still attached. The product must not be altered in any way.

Damaged Box or Damaged Product: If you receive damaged item(s), contact a customer support at info@volatusdrones.ca no later than 5 business days of receipt of your shipment to make the necessary corrections. If there is extensive damage to the box, refuse delivery and contact a customer support immediately at 1 (855) 741-8324.

Refusal of Delivery: If a package is refused for delivery, outside of arriving damaged or in a damaged box, the customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred by Volatus Drones. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original form of payment for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost of shipping the package to you.

Incorrect Shipping Address Provided: Packages that are returned because of an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charge. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be reshipped will be subject to a reshipping fee. If the package is returned and customer has not contacted a customer support the order will then be refunded back to the original form of payment.

Refunds: Once your return is received you will receive an email confirming it's arrival. Your return will be inspected within 1-2 working days after its arrival. After inspection you will be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 3 - 10 working days after approval.

Contacting us to start the return process will create an RMA number. A shipment sent to our office without an RMA number will be sent back to the shipper with shipping charges to be collected.

  • Orders that were received more than 30 days past delivery date.
  • Enterprise drones: This includes, but is not limited to the following brands; DJI Enterprise, Parrot Business Solutions, FLIR, Autel Enterprise, Skycopter, Teal, Inspired Flight and QYSEA.
  • Enterprise payloads: This includes, but is not limited to the following; LiDAR payloads, Multispectral payloads, thermal/infrared payloads, zoom camera payloads.
  • All DJI Agras products
  • DJI Care Refresh
  • Repair parts and accessories
  • Software
  • Custom-Integrated Systems (Ex. MicaSense Sensor integrated onto DJI product)
  • Products special ordered directly from the manufacturer or distributor per the customer request.
  • Invoiced sales made outside of www.volatusdrones.ca
  • Within 10 days from the delivery date.
  • In unused and resalable condition.
  • In the original unopened packaging with all the seals intact.
  • Opened-boxed items in original condition. Subject to 20% restocking fee.

Required Packaging Steps:

  1. Place item in ESD (Electro Static Discharge) bag (For electronics only).
  2. Wrap with 2 inches of bubble wrap or non-movable foam cushioning.
  3. Place in a sturdy cardboard box. Do not use chipboard, as it is not strong enough to withstand the rigors of transit. Please make sure the corrugated carton is free from defects and is structurally sound.
  4. Please write the Return Material Authorization number on outside packaging on three sides in bold print.
  5. When shipping multiple items, each item must be packed as above.

Send your product to the address located on our contact page. Retain a record of your RMA number and all tracking/shipping numbers for your records. This will allow us to better serve you with possible inquiries.

Unless otherwise noted, the buyer pays for all return shipping fees. The cost of shipping labels provided by Volatus Drones will be deducted from the total refund amount.

If you receive damaged item(s), contact our Customer Support no later than 5 business days of receipt of your shipment to make the necessary corrections. If there is extensive damage to the box, refuse delivery and contact our Customer Support immediately at 1 (855) 741-8324.

We can either refund to the original payment method (default) or provide you a store credit in the form of a gift card (Must be requested).

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via an email. You will also be informed about the approval or rejection of your refund request. If approved, the refund request will be processed within 3 - 10 working days after approval.
